![]() The big news: the 1765 land grant is now laying flat on its own! The conservator is happy with the progress and notes, "I am now trying to work out some of the worst distortions along the folded areas so they can be read easily, and also so those areas don't get squashed or abraded when stored." Not bad progress considering over 200 years of being folded. More to come!
